Lead Artists (North Side) - Dawn and Steve Lane

Greetings from Thornhill Ontario Canada, the home of jackflash\signs!
We are Dawn & Steve Lane, the husband and wife team behind jackflash\signs.  We have worked together in the sign business for over 20 years, although Dawn has been a full time Teacher (specializing in Special Education, Art & Music) for several years now.  Fortunately, we can still paint signs and murals together in the summers!

Thornhill is a tiny suburban village outside of Toronto.  Our shop specializes in traditional sign painting; a skill learned by both of us at George Brown College, for many years a leading course in Canada.  Steve is a second-generation sign artist; his father was a top-notch truck lettering man in Toronto for 40 years.
One of our other passions is music- we are two-thirds of a folk/rock/jazz combo, “Murphy’s Lawyer”.

Lead Artist (Front) - Bob Parsons

Parsons is an accomplished sign painter who lives in Anchorage Alaska.  Parsons is well know in the international sign community as the cartoonist in Signcraft Magazine.

In addition to being the lead artist for the new sign on the front of MLK Park, Parsons also designed the logo for the Walldogs on Nicollet meet. You can read his full bio here
